Devereux Beach, Marblehead’s most popular beach is conveniently located just before the Ocean Ave. causeway that leads to Marblehead Neck. With 5 acres of sand, play structures, pavilions, picnic tables and shells for days, there is plenty to do at Devereux Beach. In fact, it is a popular spot from which to observe the July 4th fireworks. Once the beach opens for the summer, typically in late June, residents can either obtain facility sticker to park for free or can opt to pay the nominal non-resident rate.
